Limits on the number of events or duration
There is no limit to the number of events an organization can host per festival.
There is also no time limit for a virtual event - it can last all day. However, let us know if you are trying to plan an event that spans more than one calendar day. There are workarounds, but no clear answer to that question.
Process for submitting multiple events
If you are hosting multiple events, you will need to create an event page from scratch for each event you wish to offer. At current, you cannot copy a finalized event and then edit it as a new event. However, you can certainly copy and paste information from one event into another.
Each collaborator is only required to submit one Event Concept Proposal for the first event. However, we would strongly urge you to submit a separate proposal for each unique event concept. The proposal lets us know you’re on the right track and how to best support you if guidance is necessary during the planning process--before you’ve done all the work-- and it also helps us shape the entire schedule most effectively.
Hosting an event series
If you offer an event series that has multiple sessions, you will need to be creative with your branding and copy. There are multiple ways to do this. Please reach out to our program team to discuss further at hello@letsreimagine.org.
We highly recommend choosing different photos for each event.
If you want to clarify expectations that attendees need to participate in the first session in order to participate in the second session, one good option is to name the sessions numerically:
- Your Event Series Title, Session 1
- Your Event Series Title, Session 2
